Denis moved to Colorado in 2015 from the East Coast and was quickly exposed to issues affecting water in the West. Since becoming a resident, he has invested his time learning about Western water issues and their critical impact on development and agriculture. As his water expertise has expanded, Denis has become interested in being part of driving positive outcomes for the future of the District and the larger Northern Colorado community.

As a board member, Denis is particularly interested in supporting the District’s strategic plan for future growth. Water is an essential ingredient for life and development, Denis believes that FCLWD’s responsibility is to provide safe water for the community and that the board’s role is to fulfill these needs by obtaining and delivering water to customers at a fair cost. Denis is looking forward to helping the board and the District achieve these goals today and well into the future.

Denis and his family moved to Fort Collins from Northern Virginia. Now retired, Denis enjoys spending his time golfing. While he describes himself as a mediocre golfer, he’s always working to improve!
