FCLWD and SFCSD will conduct regular board of directors elections on May 2, 2023.

At the FCLWD election, voters will elect two (2) directors to terms of four (4) years.

At the SFCSD election, voters will elect two (2) directors to terms of four (4) years.

All eligible electors (see definition below) that are interested in running for a board of directors seat, need to complete the self-nomination and acceptance form which must be filed with the Deputy Designated Election Official for the District at this email address, prupp@cogovlaw.com, not less than 67 days prior to the election (Friday, February 24, 2023).  The form can be obtained from the District election official: Peggy Rupp, the Deputy Designated Election Official for the District, at 165 S. Union Blvd., Suite 785, Lakewood, Colorado, or email: prupp@cogovlaw.com.

Eligible Elector Definition:

 Any person wishing to vote in a FCLWD or SFCSD election or run for the Board of Directors must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be registered to vote in general elections in the State of Colorado.

  • Must be 18 or more years of age.

Must be one of the following:

  • A resident within the boundaries of the FCLWD or SFCSD for not less than 30 days.

  • Own, or have a spouse or civil union partner that owns, taxable real or personal property within the District.

  • Obligated to pay taxes under a contract to purchase taxable property within the boundaries of the District or an area to be included within the District.

To request an absentee ballot, please complete the SFCSD Application for Absentee Ballot or FCLWD Application for Absentee Ballot for the election you are requesting an absentee ballot.  Please return forms by mailing or dropping off at 5150 Snead Dr, Fort Collins CO 80525, or by emailing the Deputy Designated Election Official at prupp@cogovlaw.com.
