NEWS: With summer approaching, it’s time to think about water conservation

From where I stand, water is a precious commodity, especially in Colorado. Especially, in Colorado in the summer.

Oftentimes, drought-like conditions can leave lawns brown and fire danger high as anyone who has spent a summer in the west is well aware. The Fort Collins-Loveland Water District, FCLWD, and its board of directors advocate strongly for water conservation and efficiency as foundational to sound water planning.

But where to start? So much water to waste and so little time to save it. Well, that’s where the FCLWD can be of some great assistance.
